Innovative Teacher Education Journal

Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to Innovative Teacher Education Journal (ITEJ) undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, scientific validity, and relevance of the published articles.

Under the double-blind review system, the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed throughout the review process. This approach is intended to maintain objectivity, fairness, and academic integrity in the evaluation of manuscripts.

The review process consists of the following stages:

  1. Initial Submission

Authors submit manuscripts through the journal's online submission system.

  2. Editorial Screening

The Editorial Board conducts an initial assessment to evaluate the manuscript's suitability with the journal's aims and scope, adherence to author guidelines, and overall academic quality.

  3. Plagiarism Screening

Manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software to ensure originality and compliance with academic publishing ethics.

  4. Peer Review

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript's subject area. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodology, significance, clarity, and contribution to the field.

  5. Review Decision

Based on reviewers' recommendations, the Editorial Board may reach one of the following decisions:

    • Accept Submission

    • Revisions Required

    • Resubmit for Review

    • Decline Submission

  6. Revision Process

Authors are required to address all reviewer comments and submit a revised manuscript within the specified timeframe.

  7. Final Decision

The Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with the Editorial Board, makes the final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of the manuscript.

  8. Publication

Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting, layout editing, proofreading, and final production before being published online.

The average review process may vary depending on the availability of reviewers and the extent of revisions required. The journal is committed to providing a timely, transparent, and constructive review process while maintaining the highest standards of scholarly publishing.
